She is the recipient of the 2008 KTRK-TV, Houston, Texas, 13 Women of Distinction Award; the 2007 Excellence in Bloom Award presented by the Huffington Center on Aging; and the 2005 Volunteer of the Year Award from the National Association of Fundraisers. She lives in Houston, Texas. Lindsay Ward is an illustrator and graphic designer. She lives in Boston. Lindsay Ward grew up in sunny California and received her BFA from Syracuse University. Now she lives in Lakewood, Ohio where she lives and works in a 100-year-old house. Lindsay loves to bake, collect vintage paper, and read lots of books. When she's not making picture books, she can be found designing stationary for her company Borrowed & Blue Handmade Invitations.
