Aimed at children with special remedial needs in mainstream classrooms, this book on sorting and recording enables them to study Mathematics within the class at their own level. Including curriculum support and time-saving features, and with careful attention to reading levels, it is part of a series which provides: emphasis on key concepts and skills required for further learning; content that is appropriate to the learning ability of special needs children but with a format appropriate to their chronological age; develops essential language and vocabulary that is needed to talk about English and Maths and interpret instructions; and a variety of formats and approaches to make reviewing and revisiting concepts both interesting and stimulating. The book is suitable for Key Stage 2 teachers and special needs co-ordinators working at levels 1-2, and Scottish levels A-B.
