The Grammar 6 Student Book is designed specifcally for use with the Grammar 6 Teachers Book. Together, they follow on from the Grammar 1-5 Student and Teachers Books and provide the next year of grammar, spelling and punctuation teaching. The Grammar 6 Student Book contains 36 spelling and 36 grammar or punctuation lessons for a full year of teaching children aged 10-11 years. The lessons continue to build upon the knowledge and skills that children have been taught in previous years. There are activities for children to complete in class or as homework, which accompany the detailed lesson plans for the teacher to follow within the Grammar 6 Teachers Book. Sarah Wade is a freelance designer and illustrator based in East Anglia. She started her career working in-house for two of the UK's market leaders within the greetings card industry: International Greetings and UK Greetings. There, she designed gift wrap as well as social stationery products for high street chains including WhSmith, John Lewis, Boots, Clintons, Sainsbury's and House of Fraser. In 2007, after a four-month artist's residency in Northern Italy, hand painting ceramics and Venetian masks, Sarah turned freelance. Since then, her work has been commissioned widely for a variety of products including children's books, textiles, wallpaper, ceramics and jewellery.
