The Brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, were German professors whose collections of folk tales and fairy tales have been loved for generations. Lewis Carroll is the pseudonym of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, 1832-1898. Alice in Wonderland was first published in 1865. Frances Hodgson Burnett was an English-American playwright and author. She is best known for her children's stories, in particular Little Lord Fauntleroy, A Little Princess, and The Secret Garden.
