Sara Acton is an award-winning author and illustrator. She grew up in the Cotswolds, and trained to be an art teacher. After teaching in London and later in New Zealand, Sarah moved with her family to Australia, where she now lives. She was a primary school teacher for sixteen years before becoming a children's book author. Lesley has a passion for dance and was a ballroom performer at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
