This book is to help children cope with bullying, by providing support and understanding. The author talks to the young reader directly and in a non-threatening manner, explaining what bullying is and how problems can be addressed. Topics such as assertiveness, self-esteem and friendship are covered. The book includes two bullying stories where we follow the experiences and explore the emotions of several different fictional characters. Designed for children and parents to read together, the book also contains a 10-point action plan for parents. It is a highly visual book, with lively illustrations by Mike Phillips. The cover is illustrated by Nick Sharratt.
