This Key Stage 3 PSHE course provides a comprehensive and engaging programme of study which has been structured around the 2008 PSHE Framework learning outcomes to provide a progressive 'spiral' approach to the teaching and learning of PSHE. PSHE 1 Teacher's Resource Book fully supports the PSHE 1 pupil's book and includes: -an overview of the course - mapping grids to the Every Child Matters outcomes and to the revised PSHE Framework outcomes - an overview of each topic - the learning outcomes and main activities covered - detailed lesson plans for each lesson in the pupil book to give complete support to non-specialist teachers - worksheets to support the activities in the pupil book - providing opportunities for differentiation - assessment activities linked to the QCA end-of-key-stage outcomes to aid reporting of pupils' progress. The Teacher's Resource Book is accompanied by a CD-ROM which provides all the material as word files, allowing the opportunity to adapt the notes and activities to suit individual teacher and pupil needs.
