This exciting children's tale is part of a six book series featuring Zenta and Matsuzo, two masterless samurai in 16th-century Japan. Stopping at a rural inn that is famed for its cherry trees, Zenta and Matsuzo find that the trees have been grossly mutilated. As they try to solve the mystery of the cherry trees they find themselves involved with the treacherous plots of two visiting warlords. For children aged 10 and up.
