Lauren Kukla is an author and editor of books and media for kids. She loves LEGOs, gardening, and walking in the woods. Her favorite kinds of books to write are the ones that make her think. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her husband, son, a silly white dog, and four city chickens. Aviel Basil studied at Shenkar College of Design in Tel-Aviv, where he currently lives and works. Since graduating in 2011, Aviel has illustrated more then a dozen children's books, which have been published in Israel. He was awarded a silver medal by the Israel Museum in 2012 for his first book. His style is inspired by 50s illustration, and he loves to use a bright and colorful palette.
