In "Zelda and Ivy: One Christmas," the fabulous fox sisters, Zelda and Ivy, prepare for the holiday season with excitement and a sprinkling of mischief. As Christmas approaches, the sisters embark on various festive adventures, including making decorations, baking cookies, and preparing for the arrival of Santa. Zelda’s grand ideas often lead to humorous surprises, while Ivy’s more cautious nature balances her sister's enthusiasm. Through their playful interactions, they learn about the joys of togetherness, the spirit of giving, and the magic of Christmas, making this charming tale a delightful read for young children during the holiday season. Laura McGee Kvasnosky began her literary career at the age of eight, sharpening pencils for her editor father, and while growing up, she worked in many departments of the family newspaper in Sonora, California. It wasn't until she was forty, though, that she decided to pursue her dream of writing and illustrating a children's book. Now, a few years later, she has created several. The Zelda and Ivy stories are rooted in her own childhood. "As the middle of five children, sometimes I was Zelda, other times Ivy," she says. Laura lives in Seattle, Washington.
