The Little House on the Prairie television series ran for 9 seasons from 1974-1983. Lynn McDonald is professor emerita at the University of Guelph. Her private member's bill, the Non-smokers' Health Act, 1988, was the first legislation in the world to establish smoke-free work and public places. S he is the editor of the 16 volume, peer-reviewed, Collected Works of Florence Nightingale, 2001-2012. Garth Williams was born in 1912 and became one of American's best-loved illustrators.
