One night Lily rescues a tiny mermaid who has been hurt in a terrible storm. The two become the best of friends, and Delphi shows Lily a magical world where mermaids play. But as Delphi gets better she must leave Lily and return to the sea. This is an enchanting story of friendship, with magical foiling throughout.

Hwei Lim draws comics (the Boris & Lalage series; Spera: Volume 1; and Mirror, with Emma Rios) and illustrates books (The Spirit of the Sea, Animals Illustrated: Narwhal, and Dragonhearted). Hwei lives in Malaysia. Laura Garnham was born in Dartford, and studied Art and Design at Warwick University. She now lives in rural France with her husband. THE TINIEST MERMAID is her first picture book. Patricia MacCarthy studied at Brighton Art College and now lives in East Sussex with her husband, illustrator John Avon, and their two children.
