This enjoyable anthology has been especially compiled by the poet Kit Wright. There are exciting poems about highwaymen, spine chilling poems of spectres and ghouls, delightful uplifting poems about animals and nature, as well as poems that are simply full of wit fun and laughter. From Milligan to Shakespeare, via A A Milne and Tennyson, this wide ranging collection of poems, old and new, has the added bonus of Michael Foreman's superb illustrations.
