Tania Hurt-Newton is a well-known illustrator of children's books and has worked for many different publishers, including Scholastic and Hodder. She grew up in Africa, where she first discovered how funny elephants are! She currently lives in London. Tim Archbold was born in Northumberland and lives in the Scottish Borders. He has written and illustrated over 100 books for children, including Bagpipes, Beasties and Bogles (2012). Michael Rosen is a best-selling poet, author and performer, and a recognized authority on children's literature. He is a regular broadcaster, and was the presenter of the influential BBC Radio children's book programme, Treasure Islands. He won the Smarties Prize for his picture book We're Going on a Bear Hunt (Walker) and his titles for Kingfisher include The Kingfisher Book of Children's Poetry, Poems for the Very Young and Walking the Bridge of Your Nose. Michael Rosen lives in East London. Mik Brown is an experienced illustrator who has worked on many of Kingfisher's humour titles, including Hee Hee Hee from the Sidesplitters series. He lives in Surrey.
