Martyn Ford is a journalist from Hampshire, where he writes for the Bordon Herald. His first book, It Happened to Me, a collection of shocking true stories, was published in 2010 by Summersdale. This is his first story for young readers (9+). Pip Jones is a freelance journalist. Squishy McFluff won the inaugural Greenhouse Funny Prize in 2012 and Pip is delighted to bring him to the page at Faber. Pip lives in London with her husband, two daughters and a real imaginary cat. Kieran Larwood has loved fantasy stories since reading The Hobbit. He worked as a teacher and has just about recovered. He now writes full-time although, if anybody was watching, they might think he just daydreams a lot. David Wyatt is an illustrator living in Devon. He has illustrated tales by well-known authors such as Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman and J. R. R. Tolkien. Natasha Farrant is a writer and literary scout. She has previously worked as a drama teacher and theatre director. She writes in a humourous and engaging style.
