Jenny never minds going to stay with her great-grandmother, Violet-Anne. there's Misty the possum and Saffron the lizard waiting in the yard and all the bits and pieces that Violet-Anne keeps in the spare room. this time, though, there's something else - Sam, the seven-legged spider. Sam is no ordinary spider - he spins webs full of memories for Violet-Anne. But his last web is the most wonderful of all. It is a special one that Jenny saves and hangs on her wall. Kerry Millard is an award winning freclance cartoonist. She is the illustrator of Just Like Emily published by World in May 1997. Nette Hilton is an award-winning writer of children's literature -- from early childhood stories to novels for older readers. The Web was named a Children's Book Council Honour Book in 1992; Living Next to Lulah was a CBCA Notable Book in 2007. Kerry Millard was born in Ottawa, Canada and has lived in Australia for over 30 years. She accidentally fell into cartooning and has been a cartoonist since 1986, drawing for numerous publications, including the Sydney Morning Herald. She won Best Single Gag cartoon artist at the Australian Cartoonist's Association awards in 1995 and again in 1999. Kerry has illustrated over a dozen children's books, and is a regular illustrator for The School Magazine. She currently lives in Sydney's northern suburbs with whoever of her three daughters is around, a dog, a duck and two hens who wander about in her kitchen!
