Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) was a Scottish writer, most famous for one of the all-time classics of children's literature, The Wind in the Willows, as well as for The Reluctant Dragon. E. H. Shepard was born in London in 1879. He was a cartoonist and illustrator and went on to draw the original illustrations to accompany Milne's classic stories, earning him the name `the man who drew Pooh'. Timothy Knapman has been writing for children for over ten years. From space to geography, his books have been translated into over 15 languages.
