A clever tale of lost and found with a classic Keiko Kasza twist. Squirrel can hardly believe his luck when he finds a delicious acorn. But when he leaves his bright red cap to mark its hiding spot, just as the wind picks up, he unwittingly triggers a comical chain of events. First, the cap blows into a tree, where a bird finds it: "What a perfect nest! Finders, keepers!" she chirps. But when it falls into the river, an ant spots it. "What a great boat! Finders, keepers!" As circumstances carry the cap farther and farther away from its original resting spot, it lands in the hands of all kinds of animals. Until, in the end, a clever twist brings the story full circle.
