This book features interviews with four people from different walks of life - rich, poor, urban and country dwellers - who grew up during the 1980s. Their memories and reflections combined with historical information (and evocative photos) give a real sense of what life was like as a child during the era of the Rubik's Cube and legwarmers; what their homelife was like, what food they ate and where they went on holidays. Readers will learn about important events of the 1980s, such the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981 and the Falklands War in 1982. It is complete with glossary and index.
