This warm, funny story, with its vivid and original illustrations will strike a chord in the hearts of all children as well as impart an important lesson about the value of everyone's talents. Henry wakes full of the joy of life, but the other creatures don't like his singing. They make so much noise that the maker asks what all the fuss is about. When told, he asks them to tell him by the next day what their voices are for. The creatures practise a song, but they won't let Henry join in. When the maker hears their song, he asks why Henry is not singing. Henry says he can't sing. But that is definitely not the end of the matter...
