In "Drizzle" by Kathleen Van Cleve, we meet a young girl named Ruth who has always felt out of place. Living on a struggling farm with her family, she discovers a magical ability tied to the weather. With the arrival of a mysterious stranger, Ruth learns about her connection to the land and the significance of her family's legacy. As she navigates the challenges of growing up, including friendships and family secrets, Ruth must embrace her unique power to bring hope and healing to her life and the world around her. The story beautifully intertwines themes of belonging and self-discovery. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].
