KATHLEEN T. PELLEY is an elementary-school teacher and the author of numerous children's books. Her accolades include the Colorado Book Award and the Bank Street Best Book Award. Pelley is a member of the Colorado Authors' League and the Authors Guild. Award-winning illustrator Lois Sprague has provided art work for children's books, along with such publications as Christianity Today and Decision Magazine. Her accolades include a Faculty Award of Superior Achievement and a Purchase Award from the Quincy Art Club. In addition to participating in exhibits around the country, Sprague conducts "live art" on stage. She graduated from the American Academy of Art and lives in Woodland Park, Colorado. Dubravka Kolanovic lives in Zagreb, Croatia. She wrote and illustrated her first book, A Special Day, when she was 18-years-old. She then studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb and has gone on to illustrate over twenty children's books
