When they're not busy performing at story-time, Rabbit, Lion and Hermit Crab live in the libary puppet box. There, they look forward to closing time, when they spring to life under the cover of darkness. Tonight, however, something is wrong. Hermit Crab is missing, and it's up to the other two to find her. They set off through the darkened library, (almost) ready for adventure, armed with picnic, map and torch. Magic abounds as the carpet becomes an ocean and the unseen presence of a snoring giant gives the pair extra motivation to complete their search. A funny, charming story about the importance of unleashing your imagination and remaining loyal to your friends.
