She has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and, as a child, she struggled to understand why she felt the way she did, which inspired her to write this story. Kath studied Human Sciences at Oxford University before pursuing a career in children's book publishing. She now freelances from her hometown of Totnes, Devon, where she lives with her husband, two boys and three cats.
