Whoopee! Jesse and Becky are going camping with Dad. They've never done this before, so they're excited--but a little scared, too. After pitching their tent, Dad and the kids hike along the shore of sparkling Black Bear Lake and Dad points out some woodland neighbors. Look, here's a frog, and those are barn swallows, and over there is a red squirrel. Jesse and Becky are having a great time, but as night falls and the woods grow dark, a ghostly "hoohoo-hoohoo....hoohoo-hoohooaw "fills the air. What can that be--a black bear? With its lively text and exuberant illustrations, "Bear Hug "celebrates a special outing shared by children and their father. Youngsters will enjoy taking this energized nature walk again and again.
