Kate Leake studied Children's Illustration at the North Wales School of Art and Design and was runner-up in the 2004 Macmillan Prize for Illustration with THE BEST CHIP. She based the story on a childhood memory of dropping a chip on the floor of a restaurant and the trauma it caused her! SUSAN CHANDLER was born in Southampton and moved to London to attend the Central School of Speech and Drama. She has written many children's books, including Vegetable Glue, Ingenious Jean, Who's in the Zoo and illustrates for The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. SANJA RESCEK has illustrated many boks for children including the successful My Little Box of Bedtime Rhymes.
