"I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!"

The Three Little Pigs is a tale of adventure and narrow escapes with lots of exciting twists and favourite repetitive phrases. Both peril and humour leap from every page, from our three little heroes and the big bad wolf.

It's never too early to introduce children to the magic and wonder of classic tales. Familiar characters are brought to life at each turn of the page with spellbinding artwork and lyrical writing. A visual glossary at the beginning introduces new vocabulary and promotes understanding. A lively activity at the end invites discussion and will make even the very youngest children want to return to these story books again and again.

Fairy tales and classic stories are a vital introduction to the basics of storytelling like setting, characters and plot. They boost a child's imagination and also teach valuable life lessons about good overcoming evil, the difference between right and wrong and the importance of rising to a challenge.

Also available: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Ugly Duckling.

The Three Little Pigs
Three little pigs grow up and the time comes for them to leave home and make their own way in the world. The first little pig builds himself a house of straw. The second little pig builds himself a house of sticks. The third little pig builds himself a house of bricks. One day a wolf comes along and blows down the house of straw. The first little pig escapes to his brothers house of sticks and hides with him, but the wolf follows and blows down the house of sticks too. The two brothers then seek sanctuary at the third brothers house of bricks, thinking that the wolf cannot blow down such a solid structure. This is true, but the wolf then climbs down the chimney. However, the third little pig being a sensible sort makes sure that there is a big cooking pot on the fire to catch the wolf and the three pigs have a yummy wolf flavoured dinner.
