Dubravka Kolanovic lives in Zagreb, Croatia. She wrote and illustrated her first book, A Special Day, when she was 18-years-old. She then studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb and has gone on to illustrate over twenty children's books Karen Saunders has an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and has worked for Parragon and Barefoot Books. Her first picture book, BABY BADGER's WONDERFUL NIGHT, was published by Gullane. She has also worked as a primary school teacher. Karen lives in Bath with her husband and young son.
