The horse and the rabbit has been written for pre-school children, and tells the story of a big, brown horse called Jethro and his best friend - a grey rabbit called Thumper. One day Jethro decides he wants to learn to jump like his other horse friends, and Thumper decides to help him. Follow this cheeky pair to see how they get on. The original concept for this story was written by the author (Karen Mitchell) in 1996 following the birth of her son, Jake. Karen's other 'baby' is her horse Jethro, who she has owned since 1993. 10% of any profits from the sale of this book will be donated to the Riding for the Disabled Association.
