A little boy is walking through the jungle when he meets a lion who cannot roar. "I'll call you Stanley", says the boy, and then together they set off to get help for the lion. They meet a snorting hippo, a chattering monkey, a squawking parrot, a neighing zebra and a trumpeting elephant, but none of them sounds like a roar and Stanley says nothing at all. Then they meet a slithery, hissing snake, who goes for the boy. Stanley suddenly finds his voice and roars. Phil McMylor has also written "Get Out of My Bath".
