He is the illustrator of the first three books in the Did You Know? series. Pete worked as a character designer and concept artist on the popular films Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Hotel Transylvania. His short film The Story of Walls earned him an Annie Award nomination. He was the production designer of The Angry Birds Movie. Pete lives in Santa Monica, California, with his wife and two sons. He has worked for some of the biggest names in entertainment, including DreamWorks, Lucasfilm, Paramount, Sony, the Cartoon Network, the Jim Henson Company, Walt Disney, and Warner Bros. Justin is also the illustrator of Faraway Fox by Jolene Thompson. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their two children and two dogs.
