This book looks at the worlds of newspaper and magazine publishing - at the differences and similarities between them, and the techniques of news-gathering and news dissemination. It also looks at the work of the design and production departments, and at how newspapers and magazines are printed, distributed and marketed. This book also looks at all the people involved along the way, from reporters and editors to the printers and sales people. There is also a section on how you can get into the business, with details of qualifications needed and relevant organisations to contact.
