Tonight Dad wants to show his son something very special: the universe. Of course, they cant possibly embark on such a daring adventure unprepared, so they wrap up warm, gather and provisions, and then off they go. Its a long walk, but eventually they get there. Along the way, they learn that sometimes the journey is more important than the destination, and sometimes the biggest lessons happen when you least expect them.

She wrote and/or illustrated There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Bugs, Why the Crawfish Lives in the Mud, How to Dress a Po' Boy, Why the Oyster Has the Pearl, Why the Possum Has a Large Grin, Macarooned on a Dessert Island, The Fifolet, and other Pelican titles. Downing lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. Julia Marshall is a graphic designer and illustrator with skills in typography, textile design, video editing, and photo retouching. She received a degree in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She has illustrated three children's books, and her artwork has appeared in nola baby & family magazine and Charleston Magazine. She lives with her husband, Dylan, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ulf Stark was born in Stureby, Stockholm in 1944. He is a successful author and screenwriter, and has won many awards for his work, including the August Prize and the Nordic Children's Book Prize. Eva Eriksson was born in Halmstad in 1949 and is a graduate of Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. She is one of Europe's best-loved children's illustrators, and has worked with Ulf Nilsson, Margaret Stroemstedt, Rose Lagercrantz, and Eva Bexell, among others. She is especially well-known in Sweden for illustrating Barbo Lindgren's successful Max series. Eva Eriksson's work has been recognised with many awards, and in 2001 she was the recipient of the Astrid Lindgren Prize. She lives and works in Dwell, near Stockholm. Eva Eriksson is one Sweden's best loved children's illustrators, winning the Astrid Lindgren and prestigious August prizes. Ulf Nilsson is a celebrated Swedish children's writer, who has won the August and US Batchelder prizes.
