Julia Hubery was born in Stamford and trained as an architect. She now lives in Gosport with her husband and three children. Victoria Ball has been a freelance illustrator since graduating with a First in Illustration from Falmouth College of Arts in 2002. Her first illustration job was for the CITV series Ripley and Scuff. In 2008 she was shortlisted for the Best Emerging Illustrator category at the Booktrust Early Years Awards. Victoria lives in Gloucestershire with her naughty cat, Ernest Small Trousers. Victoria enjoys music, travel and baking cakes.
