Richard Watson studied Illustration at Lincoln University School of Art and Design and received a first class BA honours degree. He uses a range of techniques, mixing traditional drawing and painting with collage and mixed media. He lives in Lincoln. Julia Donaldson is a former Children's Laureate and the author of the internationally bestselling book The Gruffalo, as well as numerous other popular titles. JOELLE DREIDEMY has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember. After graduating from the prestigous Emile Cohl School she moved to Paris, where she now illustrates for English, American, French and Korean publishers. Sophie Piper is the pseudonym of an in-house author. Barbara Vagnozzi lives in Italy. She has illustrated for Child's Play as well as the Finger-Trail Tales and God Bless Me for Lion. Martin Chatterton was born and raised in Liverpool but now lives in Australia with his family. He has been illustrating for over twenty years. Scoular Anderson is a popular author/illustrator whose previous books on our list include the very successful MY FIRST JOKE BOOK. He lives in Argyll, Scotland. Ross Collins was born in Glasgow in 1972. In his last year at college, he won the Macmillan children's book prize. He lives in Glasgow and is now an established picture book illustrator.
