Judith Kerr OBE was born in Berlin. Her family left Germany in 1933 to escape the rising Nazi party, and came to England. She studied at the Central School of Art and later worked as a scriptwriter for the BBC.

Mog always seems to be in trouble. She forgets that she has a cat flap and she forgets that she has already eaten her supper. But, one night, Mogs forgetfulness comes in very handy. When a burglar creeps into the house Mogs loud miaow wakes the family and he is caught red handed. The family give Mog an egg and a medal as a reward and promise never to say bother that cat again

Mog and Bunny
The family threatens to throw away their cat's favorite toy bunny until they discover the extent of Mog's love and loyalty toward Bunny.

Mog and the Baby
Mog's peaceful day is shattered when a baby comes to visit. Are you sure my baby will be all right with your cat?, Mrs Clutterbuck askes anxiously as she leaves her son with the Thomas family. Oh yes, Mog loves babies, Mrs Mog assures her but Mog is not so sure. All Mog wants to do and sleep and play but there is no chance of that with a little baby around!

Mog on Fox Night
One day Mog did not want to eat her supperAnd it was snowing and Mr Thomas was cross at having to do the bin bags. Who would have thought that all this would lead to three foxes in Mogs kitchen?

Mog's Bad Thing
When Mogs garden disappears under an enormous white flappy thing, Mog is very unhappy and does A Bad Thing. But inside the white flappy thing, a Cat Show is taking place, the perfect setting for Mog to make her family very proud indeed.

Mog's Christmas Calamity
Its Christmas, and Mogs house is full of strange noises and peculiar smells. Everyone is busy hanging holly and blowing up balloons, and where is that tree going? Mog is not happy. So she escapes to the roof, and there she staysuntil, unexpectedly, she returns with a bump!
