Tor Freeman graduated from Kingston University with a BA in Illustration in 1999. She has been writing and illustrating for children ever since. Judith Freeman was born and brought up in South Africa: this story is based on a family she has known most of her life. She has enjoyed writing about them, and it has been a great opportunity to work with her daughter Tor. Tor Freeman received a degree in Illustration from Kingston University in 1999 and went on to become a freelance illustrator. Her first picture book was Pet Wash by Dayle Ann Dodds and she has since written and illustrated her own books, Rah! and Hooray, I'm Five Today! She lives in London.
