Phonics Bug Photocopy masters (PCMs) have been specifically written for independent consolidation work, to be completed once you have modelled and rehearsed the Teaching Elements in the Whole Class Session. There are two types of PCM provided to accompany your teaching:
Phoneme session PCMs - each of these provides three activities, consolidating work covered in the Lesson.
Language session PCMs - each of these comprises two tasks, which aim to consolidate the children's comprehension skills.
Each PCM has a self-assessment section, with happy, sad and neutral faces for children to indicate how they feel about their own performance. In addition, a number of templates and a clipart bank have been included in the software to allow you to create your own PCMs to match the requirements of your class.
