Joy Frisch-Schmoll has been a freelance writer of children's books for over 10 years. Joy spent her childhood in Browerville, Minnesota, then studied psychology and art at the College of Saint Benedict in Saint Joseph, Minnesota. She lives in Shakopee, Minnesota, with her husband and orange tabby.
