Wa-Hoo! is a story about the different ways that babies are made. It explains in simple language that some people make babies easily; other people need a little bit of help to make their baby. "This is a brilliantly child-centred book. It is sensitive to young children's level of understanding and is beautifully illustrated ... sharing information as early as possible with children is crucial to their acceptance of identity and positive feelings of self-esteem." Dr Lucy Howarth, Consultant Paediatrician Oxford University NHS Trust.

Jonathan Shipton was born in Birmingham in 1948 but has spent most of his adult life in Wales where he now lives with his partner, Viv. He has five children and three grandchildren who keep him young and provide ideas and inspiration. Rosalinda Kightly was born in north London. She is married with three children. She spends her time painting, gluing, cutting and sticking, and when she's not walking or cycling, she's at her desk with the radio on, and a cup of tea going cold on the side. Oh, and trying to teach the new young cats not to walk on the artwork.
