Another group of problem pupils has arrived at Dogsbottom School from the local stage school. But these pupils are so keen that it's impossible to see why they would be a problem. When the rival school at Buttery St Crumpet announces it's putting on a play, Mrs Whiffy decides to outdo them by putting on a play of her own, but when the first night comes and the curtain is about to be raised, Mrs Whiffy and Bernie discover exactly what the problem is with the stage school pupils. Can Bernie save the day (and Mrs Whiffy's reputation) once again?
