Dugald A. Steer is the creator of the DRAGONOLOGY books and has worked as an editor for Templar for many years before going freelance to write in 2005. This is his first novel. Helen Ward trained as an illustrator at Brighton School of Art. She has received numerous awards for her work. Ms. Ward lives in England. Jeremy de Quidt (Author) Jeremy lives in Somerset with his wife and their three children. Gary Blythe (Illustrator) Gary Blythe is an award-winning illustrator. His first children's picture book, The Whales' Song, written by Dyan Sheldon, won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1990. Gary lives in the Wirral, near Liverpool. Jonny Duddle has written and illustrated two best-selling picture books: The Pirate-Cruncher and The Pirates Next Door. His next book, The King of Space, publishes in March 2013. He lives in Wales with his wife Jane and daughters Daisy and Rosie.
