Wolgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was born in Salzburg, Austria, where he and his sister were taught music by their father. Wolfgang began to play the harpsichord at three and by the age of eight had played to royal families in Vienna and London. In his short life he composed some of the world's greatest music, yet he died a poor man and was buried in an unmarked grave. The photographs and paintings in this book help to bring Mozart's story alive.
