The Ladybird Book of Dickens is a gem from the Ladybird vintage archive. First published in 1965, this is a classic Ladybird hardback book, packed with information about one of the greatest story-tellers the world has ever known. This new edition, published to mark the 200th anniversary of Dickens' birth, is exactly the same as the original, with a dust jacket and beautifully reproduced images. The story of Dickens, the events of his life and the characters he created are illustrated with twenty-four beautiful full-page pictures. Many of the events of Dickens' life, and the characters whom he knew, are described in his books: this is the story of the man who wrote them.
