As with the "Oxford First Rhyming Dictionary", this higher-level "Oxford Junior Rhyming Dictionary" is alphabetically organised. It contains key words, rhyming sounds, and more than 3000 rhyming words to help children write their own poetry, rap, slogans, songs, and rhyming stories. There is a full index of words listed at the back. Original rhymes by J. Foster and humorous illustrations give context and fun for young poets. This volume also includes an illustrated Activities section that provides guidelines for writing a variety of different poetry types.
