This homework and extension pack is an essential resource for teaching and learning about the issues and events that characterize the 20th century. The pack includes photocopiable activities such as investigating the mystery of what happened to the Romanovs, an examination of how the Nazis were fooled before D-Day landings and "The End is Nigh" - an assessment of the nuclear threat. All of these activities are self-supporting and so are ideal for homework assignments or additional classroom work. The foundation sheets are designed to reinforce the issues and topics taught in lessons, and building towards activities that also extend lower ability pupils' knowledge and understanding.
