After graduating from the prestigous Emile Cohl School she moved to Paris, where she now illustrates for English, American, French and Korean publishers. Veera Hiranandani, author of the Newbery Honor-winning The Night Diary , earned her MFA in creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College.
