Designed to provide teachers with a variety of resources focusing on maths skills, this pack includes photocopiable worksheets, lesson plans and a poster which features a black and white multiplication grid and the 2-10 times tables, colour-coded to show their inter-relatedness. Both sides of the poster are used to focus various aspects of the whole class lessons, but the times tables will also be suitable to leave up on the wall as a long-term aide-memoire for the children's maths work. Supporting activities and photocopiable pages offer worksheets, games and manipulatives to help children remember the multiplication facts and understand the links between numbers and patterns within the times-tables. The lesson plans are structured to support direct teaching of the whole class followed by differentiated group and individual work.
