As belongings start to go missing in the village and the pedlar is suddenly nowhere to be found, Leifs suspicions are confirmed. Great fun, these are easy reads which will appeal to boys and girls. -- Sarah Brew * www.parentsintouch.co.uk *

These short books are a lot of fun. The combination of adventure and word-play will entertain older readers as well as the youngest. And with so many promising characters bumping into each other at every turn, a series must surely be in the offing? Let's hope so. -- Ann Turnbull * awfullybigreviews.blogspot.co.uk *
