Kate McMullan is the author of many books for young readers, including I Stink! , winner of a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor; I'm Mighty ; and Meg's Prairie Diary , a historical fiction trilogy set in St. Louis and Kansas in 1856. Ms. McMullan lives in New York City and Sag Harbor, New York, with her husband and collaborator, noted illustrator Jim McMullan, their daughter, two cats, and a dog. Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha have written many children's books together, including Fire Engine Man and Digger Man , which received an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award. Andrea and David live in San Diego, California, with their three sons. Dav Pilkey is the talented author of this hugely popular series. He created the first Captain Underpants stories as comic books when he was still at elementary school!
